LED Light Kits Recalled due to Burn and Fire Hazard

Recalled Rockler LED light kitAn LED light kit recall by Medina, Minn.-based Rockler Companies involves about 2,200 defective LED light kits with faulty wiring that can cause the battery pack to overheat and potentially explode, posing a burn risk to users.

The recalled Rockler LED light kits have two interchangeable heads, a spotlight head (stock number 26429) or a magnifying head (27017). Stock numbers can be found on the lights’ packaging materials.

The lights were sold at Rockler Woodworking and Hardware and specialty stores nationwide from March 2009 to October 2009. Consumers should stop using the recalled lights and call Rockler Companies for a free repair kit and instructions.
