Lowe’s Gas Grill Recall due to Rubber Hose Burn Hazard
A Lowe’s grill recall affects about 10,000 five-burner “Master Forge” stainless steel gas grills manufactured by Sagittarius Sporting Goods, according to the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC).
There have been two reports of the gas tank’s rubber hose melting and rupturing.
Because of this fire and burn hazard to consumers, owners should stop using the grills and contact the manufacturer for a free repair kit. Only model numbers L3218 are affected by this gas grill recall and the name “Master Forge” is on the hood. These were sold nationwide at Lowe’s from September 2009 through November 2009.
