Bad Boy ATV/LSV Recall due to Sudden Acceleration Defect

A sudden acceleration problem that poses an ATV accident risk has prompted the recall of Bad Boy Classic LSV vehicles, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).

Bad Boy Enterprises announced the recall of certain 2009 and 2010 Low Speed Vehicles (LSV) in both the Classic and Stretch models. They were manufactured between November 2009 and May 2010. A defect may allow the accelerator pedal to become damaged because of water exposure, which could send an inaccurate voltage reading, triggering a chain reaction causing sudden, unintended acceleration, which could lead to an ATV/LSV accident and/or injury.

ATV Accident and Rollover Lawsuits

ATV/LSV vehicles that are defective have been associated in the past with serious accident and injury lawsuits, such as the Yamaha Rhino lawsuits being handled by the product liability and vehicle accident injury attorneys at Pritzker Olsen law firm. People who own a defective ATV or LSV vehicle should stop using it immediately and contact the vehicle dealer or manufacturer for more information.
