Honda Element and Odyssey Brake Recall

Potential brake defects have prompted a recall of Honda Element and Odyssey vehicles, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) announced.

The recalled Honda vehicles may develop brake pedals that feel soft or low to the floor, and if enough time passes without brake maintenance or repair, the braking performance could worsen, increasing the risk of a car accident.

Peterbilt 320 Trucks Recall due to Air Brake Problem

volvo truck defect lawsuitA Peterbilt 320 truck recall affects certain model year 2010 trucks with Hendrickson HLR2 non-steering pusher axle, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).  These trucks, manufactured by Paccar, Inc., fail to comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 121, which regulates air brake systems.

The recalled trucks do not have enough air tanks to allow for proper operation of the vehicle’s air brake system, which could hinder the driver’s ability to stop the vehicle, therefore increasing the risk of a crash involving personal injury or death. Dealers will install and additional air reservoir at no charge.
