Honda Element and Odyssey Brake Recall

Potential brake defects have prompted a recall of Honda Element and Odyssey vehicles, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) announced.

The recalled Honda vehicles may develop brake pedals that feel soft or low to the floor, and if enough time passes without brake maintenance or repair, the braking performance could worsen, increasing the risk of a car accident.

A Toyota Prius Hybrid brake investigation of model year 2010 vehicles  is being launched due to reports of malfunctioning brakes, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) announced. The NHTSA’s Office of Defects Investigation has received 124 consumer reports of brakes momentarily malfunctioning, including four allegations of accidents resulting from the potential brake defect.
