Toyota Recall Still Expanding
A Toyota accident risk recall now involves about 8 million vehicles that could have a sticky accelerator or a gas pedal that become stuck underneath floor mats. Intention to file a Toyota class action lawsuit has been announced by a Florida lawyer.
Toyota Recall due to Reports of Accelerator Sticking
A Toyota recall involves accelerators that may become stuck, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). “Our investigation indicates that there is a possibility that certain accelerator pedal mechanisms may, in rare instances, mechanically stick in a partially depressed position or return slowly to the idle position,” Toyota USA vice president said in a statement. A potentially dangerous condition such as this can increase the risk of a car crash.
